Thunderstorms

Its raining again. Heavy thunderstorms predicted for the rest of the day. My pa is flying in to Kennedy Airport and I think it might be delayed. Hope not, I have a new watch for him for his birthday and didn't want to send it by post. I love tiffany & co. Hope he does.

Short Hills Mall

American Apparel have opend a new store in New Jersey. If you are anywhere near there this weekend apparently there's some promotion on (my girlfriend Faye works at abercrombie in NJ).

Sore throat on a friday... Shopping to do on Saturday

Haven't been near the computer for a few hours. I have a dreadful sore throat. Feels like razor blades. I hope it has gone before the weekend. I have some serious shopping to do!!!!

Found Gina online yesterday. A Designer ladies shoe site, I have seen some of their shoes worn by the celebs on CBS - Kelly Osbourne for one. The london store has just gone to sale. Have never been to their London store but I wouldn't mind going to Dubai. A bit above my current budget but hey a girl can dream.

I got another email from Cinderellashoes last night (and there is a link) here. Was a bit freaked out when I realised that just as I was browsing Ginas' designer shoes in london, the email was addressed from a Gina Hennessy, or just Gina. Gina is the founder of Cinderella Shoes Ltd. Different people, different companies but quite a coincidence, right at the time I was browsing the london store. It seems Cinderellashoes, have reduced their range of Bags by 50% and most have sold out so they wondered if I'd let people now about the sale.

Hot again. Hot and terribly sticky. Just as well I'm on my vacation at the moment. No more work or assignments for a whole month.. :)

Rain at last!!!

Thunderstorms here today which is just as well as it's been so hot lately.

The weather doesn't look like its getting any better until the weekend which means Aspen (my cat) has decided to stay at home. He's not a shoe lover so to speak but he does spend most of his time playing with the bubblewrap or packaging when they first arrive.

Looking forward to the weekend, supposed to be going shopping with sofie to Waterloo Premium Outlets as the sales are now well under way. I need to get back into running and want to join a gym so I'm going to get some size 13 (although sometimes I'm size 12 for sports shoes) ASICS Gel-Kayano from the Footlocker store they have there. Apparently they have 25% off instore when you spend over $75 so I think I'll use some of my savings for that.

Have sent an email to both Cinderellashoes and Fiffibelle to see if they want me to write some articles on their ranges. I might even get some coupon offers to pass on to you guys. Only joking... Well you can't blame a girl for trying.

Summer bargains

Back to my new friends at Cinderella Shoes, I've been sorting through their summer range of sling backs and slip ons. I must say the shoe search facility in the top right corner of their site is pretty darn neat. Type in anything and a little image of the product appears in the expandable menu. Lol, I'm easily pleased I know.

Melanie is a must for the summer. The hand made man made sole is perfect for those long walks over the sand with its dulcet shades of tans making you feel romantic. I love soft leather shoes. Ideal for those walks with the one you love and unrestrictive for those trists under the board-walk. At 25 euros' / 35 dollars you can't go wrong this summer.
